Our programme is made up of work nights and visiting speakers plus the occasional extra activity
Work Nights are a chance to bring your materials and work alongside each other on your own current projects, or to start something new. It’s a good opportunity to see what other artists are doing and to ask advice if you are stuck.
Work Nights Plus will also have something extra going on such as a breakaway group where a PAS member will demonstrate a technique or hold a mini workshop for those who want to have a go, or a theme where we’ll suggest an activity that members might want to try.
Visiting Speaker These nights we will have a practicing artist or expert coming to talk about and/or demonstrate how they make their work, or to hold a workshop.

Well known local artist Norman Long demonstrates how he approaches still life painting.
